What image-to-text does
OCR (optical character recognition) turns letters in a picture into editable text. Use it for scanned notes, slides, receipts, screenshots, and posters when you need to copy the wording instead of retyping it.
Grab Media queues the image on the server. You upload a file on the Image to Text page, wait for the scheduler to finish, then copy the extracted text from the task result.
Steps to extract text
Open the Image to Text page (or pick that mode on the home screen) and sign in if you want the job tied to your account.
Upload a clear photo or screenshot. Keep the file under 10 MB. PNG, JPEG, and WebP work well.
Submit the job. If a paid plan or daily free quota applies, complete that step first so the scheduler can start.
When status shows completed, read the transcript in the result area and copy what you need.
Tips for better OCR
Use even lighting and avoid blur. Crop to the text region when the photo is busy.
Printed fonts usually read more accurately than handwriting.
Do not upload documents that contain other people's private data unless you have permission.
